BONUS: Omer 2021/5781 Animations

Happy Rosh Chodesh: the crescent new moon and the first day of the Hebrew month of Tammuz. The new moon means I’m working on a piece to share for next week’s first quarter moon, and I found the animations below sitting in my “DRAFTS” outbox. They were ultimately too large to share in my last post, but too painstakingly formatted not to share at all!

So behold: the animations I made for each week of Counting the Omer in Spring 2021/5781, Year 5 of Rainbow Squared. An ancient 49-day practice nested inside my own 49-week practice. I think of this mini-series as Rainbow Cubed.
