I’ve made 49 pieces a year for 4 years, now on my 5th. In past years, I have executed the pieces in order, starting with Red Red and ending with Black White Black White. For 2021, I am producing the pieces “out of order,” or in a different order: an emergent order. Using a deck of Rainbow Squared cards, I will draw a new card each week to determine which color combination to use. I will go through the entire deck until I have made all 49 pieces for the year.
